Today I went for a walk through the park — one of those slow, unhurried strolls that remind you why living in a city with green spaces is such a gift.
At some point along the way, I spotted a couple of squirrels darting between the trees. They were busy doing whatever squirrels do on a Saturday morning, completely unbothered by the world around them.
Later, I wandered into the cemetery with my daughter. There’s something quietly beautiful about old cemeteries — the stillness, the trees, the sense of time passing gently. It made for a lovely, reflective end to the walk.
Simple moments, but the best kind.
